As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for new clients. You will engage directly with HNIs and upper-middle-class prospects, understand their financial situation, explain our frameworks in a clear and compelling manner, and guide them toward structured investments. This role requires building trust quickly, converting prospects efficiently, and delivering founder-level personalized advisory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial calls with inbound HNI/upper-middle-class prospects.
  • Extract and analyze client profiles, including age, marital status, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and existing investments.
  • Build trust and convert prospects into long-term clients within a short decision cycle.
  • Handle objections confidently (e.g., DIY investing, PMS, direct mutual funds).
  • Collaborate with Associates for intake/data capture and CRMs for post-conversion servicing.
  • Train junior team members by sharing best practices and shadowing calls.
  • Maintain accurate client records on Zoho CRM and ensure compliance.

Eligibility & Certifications

  • Mandatory: NISM Series 5A Mutual Fund Distributor Certification.
  • Preferred: IRDA Certification, CA / CFA (Level 1) / CFP / MBA (Finance), BFM, BBI, BCom.
  • Strong understanding of personal finance including Mutual Funds, Insurance, Taxation, and Asset Allocation.

Skills Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English + Hindi/Regional languages.
  • Ability to quickly build trust and convert prospects.
  • Consultative mindset with storytelling ability for financial concepts.
  • Strong data discipline and CRM hygiene.
  • Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and familiarity with open office applications.

Preferred Background

  • Past experience with banks (HDFC, ICICI, Kotak, Axis, etc.), AMCs, or wealth firms (IIFL, Edelweiss, Anand Rathi, Motilal Oswal, etc.) is preferred.
  • Proven ability to close HNI clients (50L1Cr+ ticket size).
  • Experience managing portfolios of 5Cr+.
