Responsibilities:

  • Teaching:

  • Research:

    • Conduct highquality research in finance leading topublications in reputable academic journals.
    • Pursue research projects that contribute to theadvancement of knowledge in finance.
    • Seekexternal funding and grants to support researchendeavors.
    • Present research findings atconferences and academic forums.

  • Service:

    • Participate in departmental and university committees andinitiatives.
    • Contribute to the academiccommunity through service activities.
    • Engagewith professional organizations and networks relevant tofinance.

  • Collaboration:

    • Collaboratewith colleagues within the department and acrossdisciplines.
    • Foster a collegial and supportiveenvironment for academic collaboration and exchange.
    • Contribute to the development of interdisciplinaryprograms and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in Finance or a related field from an accreditedinstitution (candidates near completion of their doctoral studiesmay be considered).
  • Demonstrated potential forexcellence in teaching research and service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative academicenvironment.
  • Commitment to diversity equityand inclusion in teaching research and service.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduatelevel.
  • Record of scholarly publications infinance or related disciplines.
  • Experience insecuring research funding and grants.
  • Professional experience in the finance industry orrelated fields.
