NPST is a fintech company bridging the banking and fintech worlds with its product suite of technology and payments, for over 10 years. We provide software and digital payment solutions to the BFSI Industry as a Technology service provider. We function as a Technology Service Provider (TSP) and a Third-Party Aggregator Provider (TPAP), catering to stakeholders across the financial value chain, including banks, merchant aggregators, merchants, and consumers.
We got listed targeting SME IPO in Aug – 2021 on the NSE Emerge platform with a market cap of 2000 Cr (as of Mar’24) and became NPCI- an approved Merchant Payment Service Provider, acquiring merchants and facilitating payment. NPST has a marquee clientele having 10 Banks and 30+ PAPG and Merchants.

What will you do
We are currently in search of a seasoned Taxation Manager with a solid track record in overseeing taxation matters within a corporate setting. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in GST, tax management, preferably in medium to large-scale enterprises. This role demands comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations, along with proficiency in GST, tax planning, compliance, and reporting. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to tax obligations while optimizing tax efficiency strategies. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex tax frameworks are essential. Additionally, effective communication and teamwork skills are imperative for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external tax authorities. The Taxation Manager will contribute significantly to the financial health and compliance standing of the organization, making this role pivotal within our team.
Job responsibilities:
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in taxation.- Proficiency in Tally and Excel.- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.- Proven experience in handling tax compliance, filings, and audits.- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.- Strong organizational and time-management skills.- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Experience in the service industry is highly preferred.
What are we looking for:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the taxation department.- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address potential issues.- Provide guidance and training to team members on tax-related matters.- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed.- Analyze financial data and trends to provide strategic tax planning advice.- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and update internal policies accordingly.- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.- Assist in the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies.- Effectively communicate complex tax issues to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.- Entrepreneurial skills, ability to observe, innovate and own your work.- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.- Influencing skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with team members at all levels.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Collaborative approach and work with perfection as a group effort to achieve organization goal.
