Job Description: Tax Manager

We’re looking for an adept and skilled tax manager to join our team at Univo Education. As a key member of our finance department, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, contributing to our goal of maintaining financial accuracy within our organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all tax-related functions, advising the leadership team, and managing tax audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining tax plans, compliance procedures, and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management.
  • Managing and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and other direct or indirect taxes.
  • Providing exceptional tax planning and advice to optimize financial performance.
  • Identifying tax-saving opportunities and minimizing risks of penalties and legal issues.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of tax liabilities across different business units and countries (if applicable).

Qualifications:

  • Experience required 5 years to 7 years.
  • Strong background in tax law and regulations
  • Experience managing tax compliance.
  • Passion for providing exceptional tax planning and advice.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
