Position Overview:

The Salesforce Implementation Specialist will design, develop, deploy, maintain and enhance Salesforce CRM solutions. This role involves gathering requirements, data integration, configuring Salesforce features, UI & application enhancement, integrating third-party applications, efficient reporting and ensuring successful adoption among end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & CoordinationCollaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.Develop and manage detailed implementation roadmaps and documentation.

Requirements Gathering & AnalysisWork closely with teams to gather, document, and analyse business requirements.Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for Salesforce.

Salesforce Configuration & CustomizationConfigure Salesforce objects, workflows, process builders, validation rules, and permissions.Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.

Integration & Data ManagementDevelop and manage integrations with both upstream and downstream systems to ensure seamless data flow.Implement data transformations to process incoming data effectively.Oversee data migration, cleansing, and deduplication processes.Integrate Salesforce with third-party tools using APIs and middleware.

Data Quality and ValidationDevelop robust data validation mechanisms to automate quality checks and ensure the accuracy of processed data.Monitor and maintain data quality through regular audits, cleansing, and de-duplication.Ensure data integration between Salesforce and external systems is accurate and synchronized.

Reporting and DashboardsReport Configuration: Design and create custom reports using Salesforce Report Builder, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business KPIs.Dashboard Creation: Build dynamic, interactive dashboards with visual components like charts, tables, and gauges tailored to user needs.Data Security & Sharing: Manage report and dashboard access through role-based security and sharing settings, ensuring secure data visibility.Automation: Set up scheduled reports and automated notifications to keep stakeholders informed.

Testing & DeploymentConduct system testing, identify issues, and implement fixes.Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deploy changes to production environments.

Data & Application SecurityImplement security and sharing rules at object field and record level for different users at different levels of organisation.Create various profiles and configured the permissions based on the organizational hierarchyManage Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchies, and Login Security (e.g., IP restrictions, 2FA).Experience with Salesforce Shield features like Event Monitoring, Platform Encryption, and Field Audit Trail.Knowledge of data monitoring tools and processes for Data Backup and restoration.

UI and Application Enhancement

Enhance and maintain user interfaces for interacting with underlying data.Ensure the UI delivers an intuitive and efficient user experience aligned with business needs.

Training & SupportProvide end-user training and documentation to ensure adoption and proper usage.Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements post-implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related program.Professional Certification: Salesforce Certified Professional.Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation, configuration, and administration with proven track record in end-to-end Salesforce deployments.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in various Salesforce CRM modules to meet specific business needs:Sales Cloud: Focuses on managing sales processes, leads, and opportunities.Service Cloud: Designed for customer support and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction.Marketing Cloud: Helps businesses execute personalized marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and Flow.Hands-on experience with UI development and enhancement within Salesforce.Familiarity with version control tools and DevOps best practices.Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data transformation processes.Proficiency in designing and deploying custom algorithms for Salesforce automation.Expertise in creating reports, dashboards, and validation rules for robust data management.
