Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Pre-Sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and an understanding of business process domains, along with the ability to translate technical features into compelling business value propositions for clients and prospects. This role is key to supporting the sales cycle by providing insights, conducting product demos, and ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Presentations: Effectively present and demonstrate enterprise application products and solutions to customers and prospects, highlighting the business value.
  • Business Value Articulation: Translate complex technical features and capabilities into clear and concise business benefits that address customer needs.
  • Product Demo Development: Collaborate with the product team to develop and refine product demos that showcase real-world use cases and benefits for customers in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on Technical Skills: Utilize SQL to query data and gain insights for client presentations and product demos. Leverage APIs (REST and GraphQL) for integrating and showcasing product functionalities.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team with requirements gathering, solution scoping, and aligning technical solutions with client business objectives.
  • Documentation: Create detailed and high-quality documentation for product demonstrations, business proposals, and customer interactions. - Stakeholder Interaction: Work closely with internal stakeholders (technical, product, and sales teams) and interact with executives to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication to influence and engage prospects at various levels of the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business processes in at least one industrial or business domain (e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, Finance, etc.).
  • Presentation & Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with customers, prospects, and executives.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL and familiarity with APIs like REST and GraphQL. Ability to leverage these tools during client presentations and product demos.
  • Pre-Sales Experience: Proven track record in building and delivering product demos for enterprise applications, with the ability to adjust for various customer scenarios.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to understand customer needs, analyze business problems, and articulate technical solutions effectively.
  • Collaboration: Strong team player, able to work cross-functionally with technical and sales teams to ensure seamless delivery of demos and presentations.
  • Education: Bachelor's or MBA degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar business analyst role, preferably within a pre-sales or sales environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of industry-specific applications and processes.
  • Prior experience working in an enterprise software or SaaS environment.
  • Understanding of data integration, cloud platforms, and enterprise system architecture.
