We foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and technical excellence.Work Location & Mode:Location: Perundurai, Erode District, Tamil NaduWork Mode: Work From Office (WFO) OnlyAll selected candidates must work from our Perundurai office.Experience: 6–10 YearsNotice Period: Maximum 1 MonthAbout the Role:We are looking for a strong Hands-on Java Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Cloud-ready architecture. This role requires excellent coding skills, leadership capabilities, and hands-on involvement in designing, developing, and delivering scalable backend systems.The ideal candidate will mentor the team, drive best practices, and ensure high-quality technical output.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code with hands-on involvement.- Drive architecture discussions, solution design, and technical decision-making.- Ensure microservices are scalable, secure, resilient, and optimized.- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams for end-to-end delivery.- Implement and enforce best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.- Manage sprint planning, task delegation, and technical deliverables.- Perform code reviews and guide developers to improve code quality.- Work with SQL databases, caching, messaging systems, and integrations.- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and logging.- Stay updated with modern Java and backend ecosystem improvements.Required Skills:Core Technical Skills:- Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+- Expert in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data- Proven expertise in Microservices Architecture- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI)- Deep understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL)- Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ- Strong in JPA/Hibernate, ORM, transaction management- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git- Experience working with cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus- Knowledge of unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)Architectural Understanding :- Microservices communication patterns- API gateway & load balancing- Security best practices (JWT, OAuth2, encryption)- Scalability, performance, monitoring- Event-driven & distributed systems conceptsSoft Skills:- Strong leadership and mentoring skills- Excellent communication & collaboration- Problem-solving and analytical mindset- Ability to work under deadlines with ownership
