As the Manager of PR and Corporate Communications, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the organization's external communications strategies. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the media, stakeholders, and the public, while effectively conveying the company's message and protecting its reputation. Your primary focus will be on creating compelling content, managing media relations, and implementing communication plans to support the company's objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for press releases, articles, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure media coverage and manage press inquiries effectively.
  • Communication Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's goals and brand identity.
  • Crisis Management: Support the PR Manager in handling crisis situations by providing timely and accurate information, drafting crisis communication plans, and coordinating responses across various channels.
  • Event Management: Coordinate press conferences, media briefings, product launches, and other corporate events to ensure smooth execution and maximum media exposure.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate key messages and initiatives internally, ensuring alignment and engagement across departments.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and social media trends to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the PR and communications budget, including vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and expense tracking.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador both internally and externally, consistently reinforcing the company's values and mission through communication efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Legal, to ensure alignment and integration of communication activities with broader business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various platforms and audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement communication plans that support business objectives.
  • Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools, social media platforms, and PR analytics.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation in communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events or urgent communication needs.
  • Willingness to travel for events, conferences, and media engagements as required.
