Senior Analyst – ServiceNow Practice

Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Noida office.
Sr. Analyst I – ServiceNow Practice (Grade C2)

You’ll have a chance to assist in the software implementation projects for new clients, as well as work on support and maintenance of existing clients. You’ll gather requirements, configure new functionalities, troubleshoot, replicate application issues and test system upgrades.

We will count on you to:
Hold technical responsibility for delivery of Mercer Mobility Scoped application in ServiceNow. This includes control of technical scope, adherence to scope and implementation in-line with best practice across all engagements.
Script Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
Maintain sufficient technical capability and current best practice knowledge to be able to implement and administer all the company’s core products with an advanced level of knowledge in at least one specialist area.
For the assigned components of the engagement: understand, produce and maintain all relevant project documentation.
Support less experienced or more junior colleagues assigned to the same engagement.
Feedback customer views regarding the company’s products to the appropriate internal groups to enable continuous improvement.
Solve problem, prioritize own schedule and deliver within potentially high-pressure business environments as an individual contributor as well as part of a team
Actively listen, take ownership of contributing the required input whilst demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal and presentational)
Work on internally build Scoped app implementation.
Work on business / technical requirements for the client’s and work collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and to achieve a consensus on the organization's needs and priorities.
Prepare documentation and support in providing overview of work capabilities for respective functional area and Data conversion.
Design the SerivcNow solution to meet the stated needs with ServiceNow tools and technologies.
Work on data gathering workbooks and review it with client for any gaps.
Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of the work delivered and review peer’s work.
Application Testing – Assist clients with the testing of the delivered configuration, Defect resolution. Testing is driven by the scenarios from the client team.
Take timely, appropriate action to address stakeholder needs/expectations
Interact and communicate effectively with lead, mid and senior level management
Develop & manage communication plans with stakeholders aimed at improved collaboration
Reporting / Dashboards / Templates / Document design and development using ServiceNow tools
Daily duties involve:
Application configuration/customization according to the User Stories
Participating in client calls
Attending scrum calls
Providing feedback and guiding junior team members
What you need to have:
B.E /B.Tech /MCA /BSc as qualification
2/3+ years of professional experience on similar position (preferably in the area of HR, C&B or international mobility)
Experience with ServiceNow Platform
Strong knowledge of any functional work streams withing SN.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow object model and solution design approach around it.
Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.
Ability to train users in a classroom setting
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain a home office for remote work.
Experience in creating custom flows, custom activities in Flow designer.
Experience in Service Portal Development, should be able to develop custom widgets, editing and refining OOB widgets as per the requirements.
Experience in working with CSS, HTML, Angular. Should also be comfortable with Mobile UI development of Service Portal.
Experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications. Understands technical and functional design requirements related to ServiceNow.
Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system. Create and manage scripts and workflow.
Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
Strong planning and organization skills
Analytical skills, logical approach and attention to detail
Ability to build relationships internally and with customers – which is essential in this role
Passion for continuous learning and software implementation
