Skybay is a Real Estate firm based at Dubai which is
looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This on-site role is based in Pune, India, with the opportunity to relocate to Dubai after the successful completion of one year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant, situated in Pune. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting activities, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with financial regulations. They will perform account reconciliations, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and support internal and external audits. The role also entails coordinating with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and adherence to Indian Army financial policies.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budget management
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools especially Tally
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and conduct account reconciliations
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
  • Experience working in a structured and secure environment is beneficial

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks using Tally

  2. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting

  3. Utilize advanced Excel for budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation

  4. Work across teams using Google Workspace tools

  5. Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting

  6. Collaborate with the Dubai office on cross-border financial matters
