Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Pune. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial statements, overseeing daily accounting tasks, preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and providing financial analysis and reporting. The role also involves coordinating with internal and external auditors as well as mentoring junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
  • Expertise in tax preparation and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
