Qualifications:

FRM/CFA/CA or MBA from a reputed Business School with specialization in Finance

Work Experience (highlight):

3-5 years of experience in risk management team within Mutual Funds / AMC

Core Purpose of the Role:

Monitoring and reporting of investment restrictions (Regulatory / SID / internal) Preparing and analyzing investment, performance, and liquidity risk reports periodically Preparing of reports /data for various committees like Risk Management Committee, Investment Committee Run trend analysis on historical data received from the investment team for the portfolio and arrives at risk trends in terms of ratios, benchmarking with other mutual funds, duration-carry analysis, etc. Monitor and analyse various portfolio related risks and provide analysis and highlight key risks to Investment Team and take necessary precaution/action basis comments by the management Assisting in implementation of regulatory guidelines on risk management Monitoring risk metrics at scheme and AMC level in close consultation with different functional heads Assisting Head Risk to Establish organization wide Risk conscious culture Analyse the credit exposure and rating changes and its impact on the portfolio with regards to the investments in various schemes Assisting in conducting annual / periodical audit of Risk Management Framework Conducting Stress testing, Back testing, Scenario Analysis as prescribed by the Regulator/management Analysis and record keeping of incidents reported through Incident Reporting Framework Assisting in conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) in close consultation with relevant stakeholders and functions

Skills:

Working knowledge related to risk management framework in Mutual Fund/AMC Highly motivated and assertive Should be able to work independently Should be excellent and hands on in Excel & PPT Good communication skills Good Interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams within the Business Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail Fair level of understanding of Equity, Derivatives and Fixed Income markets.
