Job Overview:  

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a variety of HR functions including recruitment, administration, HR operations, and employee engagement and wellness initiatives. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the HR department supports the company’s goals and employee needs.


Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the selection process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications.

Administration:

  • Manage and maintain employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate HR-related meetings and events, such as training sessions and performance reviews.

HR Operations:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and termination paperwork.

Employee Engagement and Wellness:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance workplace culture and morale.
  • Organize wellness programs and activities that promote employee well-being.
  • Conduct regular surveys to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a positive working environment through recognition programs and team-building activities.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and effective manner.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent recruitment skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
