Role: HR operations executive
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The HR Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR processes and procedures within the organization. This position involves managing various HR tasks, including but not limited to employee data management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR system maintenance. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
• Process employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation and record-keeping.
• Monitor and update employee files to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist in payroll preparation by collecting, verifying, and entering data into the payroll system.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and on-time payroll processing.
• Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and enrolment processes.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
• Manage benefits records and coordinate open enrolment activities.
• Act as the system administrator for the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
• Collaborate with IT to troubleshoot and resolve HR system issues.
• Assist in system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Prepare and generate HR reports, including headcount, turnover, and other relevant metrics.
• Assist in HR audits and compliance checks as required.
• Provide support in resolving employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA -HR preferred).
• 3-4 years of experience in HR operations or a related HR role.
• Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP),MBA-HR
• Experience with payroll processing software.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
