Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to oversee the entire accounting function of our organization. This role includes managing compliance, financial reporting, GST filing, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The Senior Accounts Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, cash flow management, and maintaining the overall financial health of the business. Additionally, they will be responsible for MIS reporting, bank reconciliations, and managing any fundraising efforts if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations, including GST filing, compliance, and reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow reports.
- Handle all financial entries, bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Develop and implement cash flow planning and budgeting processes to support business growth.
- Lead MIS reporting to provide key financial insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for audits and assessments.
- Manage overall financial strategy, including future planning, investment, and fundraising efforts if necessary.
- Manage export documentation, including handling LC advance payments. Ensure accuracy and compliance in export-related paperwork.
- Implement and monitor effective credit control measures. Manage accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and minimize credit risks.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CA inter) is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GST regulations, financial audits, and taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, GST, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
