We need a

Full-Time

Marketing Operations Specialist

to manage our email and growth campaigns, maintain marketing databases for our sales team and brand partners, and prepare external company communications such as our weekly newsletters. Our business is growing quickly (up 300% year-over-year for Q1), and this is a critical role for us to continue our growth trajectory.

We are a fully remote company based in New York City. This is a remote job.

The ideal person wants to learn and grow in a long-term partnership (2 years minimum, 3-5+ years preferred), has insane attention to detail, is experienced with maintaining marketing databases and managing email campaigns using marketing software, is a strong writer with good communication skills, and is aligned with our core values.

Some of our clients include hosts from Shark Tank, the world's #1 Executive Business Coach, and Top Podcasters who receive 1 Million+ downloads a month and regularly rank as the #1 podcast in their niche on Apple Podcasts.

Below you'll find the outcomes you'll be assessed on and the competencies required for this role:

OUTCOMESTake over weekly newsletter drafting, design, and sending within 30 days.Take ownership of updating our podcast catalog with new information within 30 days.Take over the daily review of “New Inquiries” slack channel and direct inquiries to the appropriate person within 30 days (e.g. network inquiries, social media services, brand partnerships, etc). Diligence to ensure every lead is followed up with within 48 hrs of initial contact.Project manage and execute growth programs that help podcasters grow their shows. Draft communications for initiatives including surveys, announcements, outcome reports, etc. Serve as the primary point of contact for podcasters who have inquiries about these programs within 60 days.Create a process for providing podcasters with monthly updates on podcast performance and campaign analytics within 60 days. Takeover the ongoing management of monthly updates thereafter.Compile a hitlist of Top US 100 podcasters that we want to join our network and create a creative marketing strategy for steady, ongoing outreach to recruit them to our network. Start campaign within 90 daysCreate a marketing campaign targeting 500 international podcasters for recruitment to our network. Design and launch campaign within 90 days.

Loves planning, organizing, and updating task boards. Can identify the highest priority tasks and prioritize appropriately.Able to follow delicate processes and nuanced directions with care. Not afraid to ask for help when needed.Disciplined in their execution of recurring tasks, big and small (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc).Independent and Professionally driven. Must be able to work on projects independently. Has a strong desire to work hard and make contributions to the growth of your organization.Seriousness about deadlines. Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done.Experience designing and implementing email marketing campaignsWrites good copy for newsletters, emails, external facing documents, etc. Deep respect for clarity and syntax of all written communication.Experience maintaining marketing databases using software like Constant Contact and Google SheetsCreates clear reports for stakeholders detailing the outcomes of marketing/growth campaignsAble to research and discern appropriate podcasters/brands we should target.
