We're looking for an Director of Product R&D Engineering to lead our team in developing cutting-edge products for Financial Market compliance. Your role is to set the technical vision, integrate new technologies, and ensure successful product development execution. This is an opportunity to shape the future of compliance and oversee engineering efforts across multiple countries (India, Israel). You'll work closely with stakeholders from Product teams in the US.

Your responsibilities will encompass recruiting, guiding, and supervising a cohort of software engineers tasked with designing, developing, releasing, maintaining, and troubleshooting software applications. Through effective coaching, feedback mechanisms, developmental objectives, and performance evaluations, you'll provide leadership that fosters continuous improvement and excellence.

Technology: Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML)and assess their potential application to our products. Lead the identification, evaluation, and integration of cutting-edge technologies into our product development process. You bring expertise in developing and deploying scalable, high-performance cloud-based products. Strategic Thinking: Your strategic acumen enables you to elevate engineering teams year after year, setting and achieving specific measurable KPIs. Building Winning Teams: Your commitment lies in enhancing the skills of existing team members, perpetually striving for improved outcomes. Customer Focus: You'll cultivate a profound understanding of the market, customer needs, and product usage to enhance value delivery. Strong Execution: Meeting product and technical roadmaps is your forte, adept at influencing, guiding, and championing technologies that bolster scalability, resilience, and performance. Attention to detail is paramount as you actively shape architecture and design in collaboration with the team. People: Nurturing and empowering Engineering Managers, Technical Managers, and team members are central to your approach. From managing recruitment to fostering a performance-driven culture, your leadership sets the tone.

Have you got what it takes?

Experience: Over 20 years in Software Engineering with a Product Development mindset. Leadership: Minimum of 8 years managing multiple software developer teams, including 4 years of managerial experience through subordinate managers. Track Record: Demonstrated success in overseeing the development of enterprise-grade software products with a focus on performance, scalability, and integration within extensive enterprise ecosystems. Industry Exposure: Background in global product software companies catering to enterprise clients (Fortune 100 companies). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java or .Net technologies, along with experience in building and deploying high-performing graph-based applications in production environments. Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AI/ML technologies, particularly GenAI, is advantageous. Methodologies: Deep understanding and application of Agile/SCRUM/SAFe software development methodologies. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
