Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PR and Community Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in public relations, community engagement, and digital marketing within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As a PR and Community Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our marketing team and contribute to the development and execution of strategic PR and community initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  1. Assist in the development and implementation of PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
  2. Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
  3. Draft press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials for distribution to relevant media outlets.
  4. Support the management of social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with the online community.
  5. Contribute to the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other community-focused activities.
  6. Create engaging videos and podcasts to share company updates, industry insights, and thought leadership content.
  7. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform PR and community strategies.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency across all communication channels.
  9. Assist in the maintenance of PR databases, contact lists, and media relations assets.


Requirements:


  1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Familiarity with social media platforms and experience managing corporate social media accounts is a plus.
  4. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  7. Prior internship experience in PR, communications, or marketing is preferred but not required.
  8. Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for PR, community engagement, and digital marketing.
