Primary role:


Head of Finance with 12 - 15 years of experience in SaaS product companies. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Finance will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of finance professionals, managing stakeholders and business sponsors, and driving financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional financial acumen, and a proven track record of success in the SaaS industry.


What you'll do:


Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and contribute to the company's success.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business sponsors, executive leadership, and external partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align financial goals and strategies with broader business objectives.


Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Drive preparation of annual operating plan, budget, actuals and forecasting at P&L level for multiple business units; ensure accuracy of forecasts is maintained.
  • Oversee the company's FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and reporting tools to analyze business trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.


Business Finance:

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, and provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize performance and profitability.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and partnerships, conducting thorough financial analysis and risk assessments.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls, and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective risk management strategies and controls to safeguard company assets.


Basic qualifications & skills:


  • CA or CPA with 12 -15 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the SaaS industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of managing stakeholders, building strategic partnerships, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and BI platforms.
