About the Role We are looking for an Engineering Manager with strong fintech product experience to lead our engineering function and drive secure, scalable financial technology solutions. You will manage a growing team, collaborate closely with Product, and ensure compliance with industry-grade security and regulatory standards while shipping high-impact features. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach & grow a team of high-performing engineers in a fintech product environment Own delivery of secure, compliant product features from ideation to production Work with Product, Compliance & Security teams to understand regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, PCI-DSS, Data Privacy, etc.) Architect scalable systems for payments, identity, risk scoring, transaction management, etc. Maintain high standards of code quality, observability, automation & documentation Define sprint goals, track productivity, and remove operational blockers Drive DevSecOps culture, continuous delivery, zero-downtime deployments Conduct performance evaluations and assist in technical hiring & resource planning Ensure system uptime, reliability & resilience for financial transactions Requirements Good communication is must. 6+ years total engineering experience, with 3+ years leading teams Strong background in backend or full-stack development (Java, Node.js, Go, or similar) Hands-on experience with financial data systems, payments, or banking APIs Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) and CI/CD pipelines Familiar with industry compliance frameworks (KYC/AML, ISO 27001, PCI) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to make data-driven decisions in fast-moving fintech environments Nice to Have Experience in microservices , event-driven architectures , distributed systems Exposure to fraud-detection, transaction monitoring or credit risk systems Startup, rapid scaling experience in fintech
