As the Sales Lead at Starinco, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and
optimizing the day-to-day aspects of the sales process, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and contributing to the overall success of the company.
2 Key areas of responsibility for this role are:
1.
Direct Sales: Meet and exceed direct revenue generation targets.
2.
Ecosystem Building: Get targeted no. of system integrators on board.
Internal Responsibilities (Strategic and Reporting):
Business Expansion: Collaborate with the AVP- Business Development to implement
effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
Establish operational processes, workflows, and best practices for the sales team.
Monitor the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, identifying areas
for improvement and implementing solutions.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with
key clients in manufacturing, heavy industries, and PSUs.
Understand clients' unique needs, challenges, and objectives, and provide tailored
solutions.
Address client concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market
insights, and competitor analysis to senior management.
Collaborate with AVP- Business Development to contribute to overall sales strategy,
budget planning, and business growth initiatives.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of all sales
activities, including contracts, proposals, and client communications.
CRM & Sales Tools Management: Oversee the implementation, customization, and
maintenance of CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and lead generation tools (e.g., Lusha andLinkedIn Sales Navigator), streamline processes and improve team efficiency.
Ensure seamless integration of CRM with other organizational systems to enhance
customer interactions, lead management, and sales forecasting.
Utilize CRM data and reporting tools to analyze sales performance, track key metrics,
and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
Implement dashboards and reports that enable real-time monitoring of sales activities
and progress toward targets.
Travel & Events: Travel as required, to meet clients and attend industry events
External Responsibilities (Channel Partner/SI Acquisition End to End):
Channel Partner Identification: Identify, evaluate, and recruit new channel partners
to enhance Starinco's market reach and penetration.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing
channel partners, providing ongoing support, training, and resources to optimize their
performance.
Set up and drive regular status meetings with partners.
Collaborate with partners to set mutual objectives, KPIs, and success metrics.
Sales Support: Offer end-to-end sales support to channel partners and SIs, including
pre-sales assistance, technical guidance, and post-sales support.
Experience (must
have)
• At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and 2 years IT Service Sales.
•
Candidates with demonstrable experience in AI/ML powered solutioning, will
be given preference.
•
Candidates with direct experience in computer-vision /vision-tech area, will
be at a much advantageous position during interview.
•
Proven experience in IT Industrial Automation projects and Industry 4.0
solutions.
•
Proven track record of successfully driving digital transformation sales within
PSUs and manufacturing sectors, will be preferred.
•
Experience in participating in tender processes is a big plus.
•
Experience in collaborating with industry associations, trade bodies, and
relevant forums to build industry relationships and stay updated on sector-
specific developments.
•
Proven experience in end-to-end channel partner management, including
onboarding, engagement, support, and success.
•
Proficiency in utilizing Sales and lead generation tools like Zoho, Lusha and
LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
•
Masters Degree will be preferred.
• Strong network and existing relationships with potential clients, channel
partners, and industry stakeholders.
•
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including
ability to articulate the value proposition of our Computer Vision software
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify growth opportunities and
execute plans effectively
