Hotel Revenue Associate

As a Revenue Associate at Spacez, you will play a key role in driving revenue optimization and profitability across our luxury villa properties. This role involves managing inventory allocation, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue per property. You will analyze market trends, create pricing models, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective revenue strategies.
Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help shape sales strategies, optimize property performance, and contribute to Spacez's growth in the luxury homestay market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Management & Strategy Execution:
- Manage villa inventory, rate strategies, and booking restrictions to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Develop, implement, and monitor pricing strategies for both transient bookings and group reservations.
- Oversee inventory systems to ensure clean booking windows and avoid revenue leakage.
- Analyze historical and real-time demand data to forecast occupancy, revenue, and profit opportunities.
- Release unused group holds back into inventory to maximize availability and revenue.
- Communicate rate changes, booking restrictions, and strategies to sales, reservation teams, and property managers.
- Collaborate with reservation teams to drive cluster selling initiatives and ensure consistent booking processes.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct revenue and occupancy forecasts for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles.
- Analyze key metrics, such as Revenue Per Available Villa (RevPAV), occupancy trends, and profit margins.
- Evaluate the success of current sales strategies and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare detailed performance reports to assess booking trends, pricing impact, and competitive performance.
- Identify gaps and opportunities using data-driven insights to align with market demand.
- Develop tools or reports to track revenue performance and highlight growth opportunities.
Market Research & Strategy Optimization:
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to understand market trends, pricing structures, and positioning.
- Utilize demand forecasting systems to adjust villa rates, packages, and inventory availability.
- Recommend tailored sales packages for corporate stays, private gatherings, and other customer segments.
- Provide insights on emerging market opportunities and assist leadership in long-term revenue planning.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with property managers, sales teams, and marketing teams to align on revenue goals and promotions.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure guest experience aligns with revenue expectations.
- Act as the central point for revenue performance reporting to senior leadership.
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align on revenue strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Hospitality Management, Economics, or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience in revenue management, data analytics, or hospitality sales preferred.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), demand forecasting tools, and reservation systems is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools.
- Ability to develop pricing strategies, revenue reports, and forecasts based on market trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to revenue optimization.
