Job Posting Title: Business Manager - Retail Sales

Location: Mumbai / Bangalore

A successful Business Sales Manager at FISERV drives revenue growth and customer satisfaction by building strong relationships, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Continuous Relationships: Foster ongoing connections with merchants to maximize value and achieve sales targets.
  • Track and Report Performance: Regularly monitor and analyze team performance in terms of targeted sales and business volume.
  • Cross-Selling and Relationship Management: Leverage existing customer relationships to generate revenue through the sale of additional products.
  • Support Leadership Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership on key initiatives that drive business growth and retention.

What You Will Do:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets while maximizing revenue per customer.
  • Manage Team of Business Counsellors: Lead a team of Business Counsellors and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Growing Business Volumes: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow business volumes from existing portfolios and new acquisitions.
  • Liaise with Channel Partners: Build relationships with channel partners to generate leads for merchant sourcing.
  • Identify and Develop New Businesses: Proactively identify, prioritize, and develop new and existing businesses.
  • Handle Portfolios and Customer Queries: Effectively manage customer portfolios and address customer queries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • MBA Degree: Hold a Master's degree in Business Administration.
  • Industry Expertise: Possess comprehensive knowledge and experience working in payments, e-commerce, fintech, and/or technology-enabled commerce businesses in a solution selling environment.
  • Partnership Experience: Have experience driving merchant, acquiring, or payment partnerships with a deep understanding of the payments industry.
  • Communication and Selling Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and aggressive selling skills.
  • Relationship Management and Time Management: Exhibit excellent relationship management, negotiation, and business skills, as well as exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Independence and Teamwork: Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM software.
