Assistant Manager Procurement

Responsible for buying products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. Need to review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
potential vendors and compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
contract terms of agreement and pricing
for facilitating project requests through the procurement process and will act as the procurement partner for large dollar and/or complex projects.
orders and ensure timely delivery
quality of purchased products
order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
reports on purchases, including cost analyses
stock levels and place orders as needed
about IT hardware & worked in IT industry
Skills and Experience:
in Computers, Electronics or related field
experience of 10+ years as a Purchasing Officer/ Agent/Executive or similar role in IT industry
knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
position requires the individuals to have a working knowledge of technology platforms and solutions across a broad spectrum
experience with purchasing software/ERP software
of supply chain procedures
analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
skills
ability and strong collaboration skills
attention to detail
to work independently, take initiative and handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
to work under pressure, meet objectives and adhere to deadlines with minimal supervision
and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
communication skills
of Networking and Security concepts shall definitely be a plus.
