We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to be the right hand of our Head Chef in managing and elevating the kitchen operations of our fine dining restaurant and bar chain. The Sous Chef will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supervising the culinary team, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across our Continental, Italian, and Fast Food cuisines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing daily kitchen operations.
● Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
● Ensure food preparation, cooking, and presentation align with restaurant standards.
● Support in designing and updating menus for Continental, Italian, and Fast Food cuisines.
● Maintain high levels of hygiene, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen.
● Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food cost and wastage.
● Ensure timely delivery of food during peak hours while maintaining quality.
● Collaborate with the management team for special events, promotions, and seasonal menus.
● Handle guest feedback related to food quality and take corrective action.
Skills & Requirements:
● Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a fine dining setup.
● Expertise in Continental, Italian, and Fast Food cuisines.
● Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
● Knowledge of kitchen operations, costing, and inventory control.
● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Culinary diploma/degree or equivalent certification preferred.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
● Full-time position on the company's payroll
● Location: Khar
