marital status: only married candidates eligibleindustry preference: candidates with prior experience in dealership or procurement roles in jsb, hitachi, komatsu, cat, case or other earth moving equipment brands.job summary:we are looking for an experienced and responsible purchase manager to lead and manage our procurement operations efficiently. the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the earthmoving or construction equipment industry, and strong negotiation and vendor management skills.key responsibilities: develop and implement an effective purchasing strategy aligned with business goals. review, approve, and process purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner. lead and supervise the purchasing team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to sops. maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received. negotiate with vendors for best pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements. build and sustain strong relationships with suppliers and oem vendors. evaluate and onboard new vendors based on quality, service, delivery, and price. schedule and track deliveries, ensuring timely supply chain operations. monitor inventory levels in collaboration with warehouse and service departments. resolve issues related to delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns. stay updated with market trends, price movements, and vendor innovations. travel to vendor locations and expos for sourcing and relationship building. ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain audit-ready records. introduce and oversee adoption of modern purchasing tools and technologies.required skills & qualifications: graduate in commerce/engineering; mba in supply chain or materials management preferred. minimum 810 years of procurement experience in earth moving machinery or heavy equipment dealership. in-depth understanding of technical specifications and parts procurement for brands like jsb, hitachi, komatsu, cat, case, etc. strong negotiation and contract management skills. proficiency in ms office, erp systems (tally/sap/oracle). excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities. high level of integrity, accountability, and detail orientation. willingness to travel as required.preferred candidate profile: age 35 or above married background in construction equipment, mining machinery, or industrial dealership stable career history and leadership exposureExperience 7 - 12 Years No. of Openings 8 Education B.A, B.Tech Role Purchase Manager Industry Type Automobile / Auto Ancillaries Gender ( Male / Female ) Job Country India Type of Job Full Time Work Location Type Work from Office Face interview location Jinkushal Industries Limited, Address- H.
