About Function/Department Response is the Sales function of the Company and contributes over 90% to the Company’s top-line. The function has 1,100 + colleagues who are engaged in business planning, business development, fulfilment of client orders, and sales capability building. The function uses world class processes, cutting edge technology and analytics to ensure that business growth objectives are met. About the Position Identify and create barter opportunities with clients who traditionally advertise minimally or not at all, while encouraging BCCL’s current and prospective vendors to advertise in its publications in lieu of cash payments. Additionally, establish a process to evaluate the market value of client inventory against advertising space costs to ensure equitable transactions. Areas of Responsibility Vertical wise Deployment and Revenue Accountability : Each Vertical Lead will be responsible for creating & driving the barter revenue targets for their assigned cluster of verticals. Client Relationship Management : Build & nurture relationships with key clients within their assigned verticals, specifically targeting those with minimal or no current engagement in print advertising and those who are or can be vendors or service providers to us. Develop tailored barter proposals to onboard these clients into the barter model. Collaboration with Regional Sales Teams : Act as a liaison between the barter business and the regionally deployed Response Sales Teams. Provide them with vertical-specific guidance to identify and close barter deals. Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification : Continuously analyze market trends within their verticals to identify new barter opportunities. Educational Qualifications Required Graduate / MBA Relevant Experience 7-9 Years Behavioral Competencies Adapting and Responding to Change Planning and Organizing Analytical Thinking Communication Skills Creating and Innovating
