
Logistics Sales Manager

Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of sales executives, setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Develop and implement long-term logistics strategies aligned with overall business objectives, optimizing resource allocation and improving operational efficiency.
- Oversee and manage the logistics budget, controlling expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure seamless operations, competitive pricing, and reliable service.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address potential challenges.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics activities, providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to logistics and transportation.
- Proactively identify and resolve logistics-related issues, minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans to address unforeseen circumstances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing sales teams, strategy development, and achieving sales targets within a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
