Senior Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth and revenue for our SMB segment. As a Senior BDM, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and driving strategic partnerships to expand our presence in the tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Field Sales Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the field sales team, ensuring effective territory management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional targets.
- Monitor sales activities and performance metrics to ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
Remote Team Handling:
- Efficiently manage a geographically dispersed team, utilizing virtual tools and communication platforms.
- Conduct regular virtual meetings and check-ins to ensure alignment and address any challenges.
- Promote a sense of community and engagement among remote team members.
Sales Scaling:
- Drive the 0 to 1 journey in sales, establishing and refining processes from the ground up.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to expand sales operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
Data Management:
- Utilize Freshworks tools to track and analyze sales data and team performance.
- Generate regular reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis activities.
Target Achievement:
- Set clear, achievable sales targets for the team and monitor progress.
- Implement strategies to motivate the team and drive performance towards target achievement.
- Address performance gaps and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Process Setup:
- Establish and document sales processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Continuously review and improve processes to adapt to changing business needs.
- Develop best practices and standard operating procedures for the sales team.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in sales management, with a focus on recruitment services.
- Team Management: Proven experience managing teams of 10+ members.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Freshworks tools.
