Job Title : Embedded Hardware Tester

Department : Engineering

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Embedded Hardware Tester to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and validating embedded hardware systems to ensure they meet our quality standards and performance criteria. This role requires a strong background in embedded systems, hardware testing methodologies, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and test cases for embedded hardware systems.

- Perform functional, performance, reliability, and regression testing on embedded hardware.

- Identify, document, and track hardware defects and issues, working closely with the engineering team to resolve them.

- Design and implement automated test setups and scripts to streamline testing processes.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on hardware performance and quality.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.

- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in embedded systems and hardware testing.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in embedded hardware testing or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).

- Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

- Experience with automated test tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB).

- Familiarity with hardware design and schematic review.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).

- Knowledge of PCB design and layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle).

- Certification in hardware testing or quality assurance.
