JOB DESIGNATION/ROLE/POSITION Area Legal Manager Roles and Responsibilities Reach experience in managing & defending bulk litigations before various courts and forums including High court, Session Court, Metropolitan Courts, Civil Courts, Consumer Forums and Lok Adalat, DRT. Handle and represent the company in civil, criminal, and recovery-related litigations before District Courts, Consumer Forums, and Lok Adalats. Manage recovery litigations (secured & unsecured), including NI Act (Section 138), Arbitration, SARFAESI, Execution Petitions, and related civil/criminal cases. Draft, vet, and review legal documents such as complaints, replies, affidavits, notices, and agreements in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate with advocates, law enforcement agencies, and local authorities to ensure timely progress and effective resolution of cases. Support in possession and auction process for secured assets under SARFAESI or Arbitration awards. Manage and monitor legal recovery pool and follow-up on write-off or loss category accounts for recovery through legal tools. Ensure timely updates of case status, MIS, and reports in LMS and other internal systems. Provide legal support to collection, credit, and business teams for handling customer disputes and operational legal queries. Assist Regional Legal Manager in training, compliance monitoring, and policy implementation within the assigned area. Willing to travel within the assigned territory for case hearings, coordination, and review meetings. Preferred candidate profile LL. B / LL. M Degree with 5–8 years of experience in handling civil and criminal litigations, recovery, and corporate legal matters. Good knowledge of local courts and enforcement procedures. Experience in working with NBFCs, Banks, or financial institutions will be preferred. Proficiency in LMS systems, MS Office, and report preparation.
