Purpose of the JobExecute the manufacturing process and plan for the brands “Preethi” and “Philips” to achieve the production line metrics in line with factory / Organization requirementsJob SpecificationsDesignation / Title : Manager - EHSExperience Range : 10-15 YearsQualifications : B.E / M.E in Industrial Safety / Notifiable qualificationPreferred Industry : ManufacturingLocation : Thaiyur, Chennai- Good Knowledge in Safety management at Manufacturing environment.- Ability to drive practices of safety and related Compliances.- Engineering Knowledge of fire hydrant systems, extinguishers, sprinklers etc.,- Stakeholder Management.- Capability to drive Manufacturing Safety systems like HIRA, LOTO, BBS etc.,- Ability to drive the safety initiatives and engagement of employees.- Safety auditing to ensure the safety systems, Compliances and practices are in place.- Strong Communication SkillsRoles and Responsibilities- Ensuring safe workplace by Hazards identification and mitigation in manpower, machine, methods and material.- Implementing EHS Policies and consequence Management policies.- Training the new employees on safety, product quality, process, documentation etc.- Implementation of HIRA, LOTO, Work permit system and other safety work practices to achieve safety metrics.- Conducting periodical safety campaigns and programs to keep the safety workplace.- Maintain the cordial relationship with all the employees and functional leads.- Standardize the safety SoP, Practices and systems to maintain consistency.- Ensure the Compliance to the various laws under EHS.- Prepare and report standard safety KPI’s to the plant and present to Management.- Global safety reporting and implementing global practices in Safety.- Managing the occupational health Center and related accessories and requirements thereof.- Conducting the Mock drill, fire drill and other required simulation training to employees.- 100% Safety training to all employees & periodical re-training.- Benchmarking best practices from other industries and implementing them.Key deliverables for the role- Achieve Safety metrics of the Plant (TRCR, Lost time injury, reportable accidents etc)- Adherence to all the Safety systems in the plant 100%- EHS Compliances at 100%- Safety Training Completion at 100% all the time.- Emergency preparedness Score- External Liason and ensuring zero notices/warnings/Advise/Show-Cause.About the organizationVersuni India Home Solutions Limited is a leading global player in Domestic Appliances business operating with two brands “Preethi” and “Philips” in India.
