Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Engineer, located in Chennai. The Environmental Health Safety Engineer will be responsible for implementing and overseeing safety protocols, conducting safety trainings, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role includes regular inspections, risk assessments, and recommending corrective actions to improve workplace safety and environment health standards.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Health & Safety, Environmental Health, and Occupational Health
  • Knowledge in Safety Engineering and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
