Data Entry SpecialistLocation: Mumbai

As a data entry specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering important company data and keeping records up-to-date. We are looking for candidates with a 10+2 certificate or a Bachelors' degree. Prior full- or part-time experience working in data entry is desirable, though not essential. We are looking for candidates based in Mumbai.

Key ResponsibilitiesGather, collate, and prepare and verify documents, materials, and information for data entryTranscribe source data into the required electronic formatPerform high-volume data entry using word processing tools, spreadsheets, databases, or other computer softwareVerify integrity of data by comparing it to its source and maintain logsMaintain a filing system and protect confidential informationResearch to obtain information for incomplete materialRetrieve data from the database or electronic filing system in the format requestedWork closely with the specialists and sales teamsClerical duties such as filing, monitoring office supplies, scanning, and printing as neededCompliance with processes set and testing new systems and software updatesCoordinating with departments and locations as requiredAssisting team with client queries, attending phone calls, and attending to gallery visitors when required

Skills and ExperienceGood interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken English)Ability to organise and manage timeAbility to work well within a team as well as with minimal supervisionAbility to multitask and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods of timeAbility to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracyComputer literacy and familiarity with various computer programs such as MS Office and a basic knowledge of databasesKnowledge of administrative and clerical operations and digital and paper filing systemsAbility to maintain confidentiality and be discreet with data handledWilling to adjust to long hours, if necessary, particularly during sale deadlines, exhibitions, and auctionsTo apply, send an updated resume and a cover letter expressing your interest in this role to
