Role & responsibilities -

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Executive with a strong background in Export, Import, and Reimport operations to support our manufacturing logistics function. The role involves managing end-to-end international logistics, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Operations:

  • Manage end-to-end export documentation including invoice, packing list, shipping bill, Bill of Lading, etc.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines for smooth export operations.
  • Ensure timely execution of export shipments, coordinating with production, QC, and warehouse teams.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and ensure on-time delivery to international customers.
  • Maintain export records and filing as per statutory requirements.

Import & Reimport Operations:

  • Handle complete import procedures including BOE (Bill of Entry), vendor coordination, and timely clearance.
  • Coordinate with CHA and shipping lines for timely documentation and customs clearance.
  • Oversee reimport activities, including documentation and compliance as per customs norms.

Regulatory & Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, and other relevant authorities.
  • Handle documentation for EPCG, Advance Authorizations, and other export incentives.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in EXIM policy, customs regulations, and statutory guidelines.

Operational Efficiency & Coordination:

  • Coordinate closely with freight forwarders and transporters for shipment planning and cost control.
  • Negotiate freight rates and terms with logistics partners.
  • Track shipments and resolve logistics issues proactively.

Export Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate reports for all export/import transactions.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to logistics, freight costs, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor export performance against monthly and annual targets.
