Job Description:

Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 5+ years

Preferred: Immediate/30 Days' Notice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to understand data needs and deliver impactful insights.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL, Python/R, or other analytics tools.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance metrics and trends.
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses including segmentation, regression, cohort analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Lead efforts to improve data quality and ensure consistency across datasets.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences through presentations and reports.
  • Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis and storytelling.
  • Support data-driven decision making by identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles.
  • Mandatory - Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large databases.
  • Mandatory - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Mandatory - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and experimentation techniques (A/B testing, hypothesis testing).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer analytics, product analytics, or marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of data engineering principles and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
