Assistant Payroll Manager

Coordinate statutory/internal audits and manage payroll-related employee queries.

Drive HR operations, implementing employee benefits to enhance experience.

Support annual performance appraisals and optimize payroll processes.


Key Performance Areas:

Ensure timely payroll activities with 100% accuracy, including variable compensation and incentives.

Process employee advances, travel expenses, payroll payments, and full & final settlements per policy.

Manage LTA, medical reimbursements, Form 16, and year-end support.

Review and control payroll as per tax laws and company policies.

Resolve TDS issues promptly and deliver accurate budgeting, expense reporting, and audit coordination.

Lead SOX and internal audits, addressing gaps within defined timelines.


Candidate Profile:

Postgraduate with 7-10 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, and Compliance.

Strong expertise in India payroll, statutory compliance, and international payroll (preferably Southeast Asia).

Proficiency in Darwinbox HCM, employee record management, and advanced MS Excel.

Proven ability to execute process improvement initiatives and optimize payroll operations.


Additional Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of payroll laws and compliance.

Familiarity with international payroll systems is a plus.
