Key Responsibilities:

-Payroll Management:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.

-Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

-Accounting of Payroll:

  • Manage the accounting of payroll.
  • Ensure accurate allocation of payroll costs to respective departments and business units.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries in the general ledger.

-Employee Reimbursements:

  • Processing of employee reimbursements, including travel and expense claims.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines for reimbursements.
  • Review and approve reimbursement requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

-Reporting:

  • Prepare payroll reports for management, including payroll summaries, tax payments, and other financial reports as required.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and trends.

-Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT departments to integrate and optimize payroll systems.

-Issue Resolution:

  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and errors.

Qualifications:

-Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

-Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in handling payroll for a large organization is preferred.

-Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
