THE CHALLENGE

As an Engagement Manager / Technical Project Manager, you will work on a team of client-focused solution deployment managers to tackle real-world business challenges. With equal parts client face time and technical delivery, this is a great opportunity for an experienced project manager with an analytics background to apply their problem-solving, leadership and hands-on technical skills to deliver high-quality solutions for clients.While this is a fully-remote role, successful candidates will be offered relocation to Demyst's future hub in India (TBD). As you will be supporting clients globally, you will be expected to align your working hours to the Australia or the US.

Responsibilities

Lead and project manage the post-sale implementation of data initiatives across tier 1 clients (such as insurers and banks), engaging across a broad range of stakeholdersGather disparate client requirements and organize into structured process flows in collaboration with internal (e.g., data engineers) and external (e.g., data vendors) implementation teamsMap designed workflows versus counter-factual approaches and quantify impact and benefitsUnderstand our product offering and recommend fit-for-purpose data solutions to new and existing clients to deliver business valueBuild long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and functional managers; act as a trusted resource for understanding and solving their business challengesLead client-facing platform demos and collaborative data discovery workshops; guide new clients through onboarding to the Demyst platformInfluence Demyst’s data and product roadmap as a proactive voice of the customerRequirements3-5 years working in a client-facing role within a data-centric b2b solutions provider (e.g., within analytical consulting or SaaS/technology providers)Experience managing complex projects related to data engineering, business applications, and/or system integrations; technical account management experience a plusExceptional analytical problem-solving skills; ability to understand technical details while staying focused on business objectivesStrong communication skills; ability to translate and convey complex, technical concepts to business/non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading collaborative discussions with large groups of senior stakeholdersFamiliarity with business decisioning methods (e.g., CBA/ROI)Exceptional technical project delivery track record, organization/prioritization skills, and work ethicBA/BS (or MA/MS) in a technical discipline (e.g., computer science, engineering, data science, etc.) preferredStrong background in data science, ML, and/or statistics (incl. experience using AI tools such as DataRobot, H20, Python, and AI frameworks like Spark, TensorFlow) preferredAbility to learn and adapt quicklyWillingness to align to US or AUS working hoursExperience writing unit and integration tests a plusIndustry knowledge of insurance and/or fintechs a plusBenefitsDistributed working team and culture: work from anywhere in the worldGenerous benefits and competitive compensationBe a part of the exploding external data ecosystemJoin an established fast growth data technology businessCollaborative, inclusive work cultureWork with the largest consumer and business external data market in an emerging industry that is fueling AI globallyOutsized impact in a small but rapidly growing team offering real autonomy and responsibility for client outcomesStretch yourself to help define and support something entirely new that will impact billionsWork within a strong, tight-knit team of subject matter experts and overseeing a team of renaissance technical talentSmall enough where you matter, big enough to have the support to deliver what you promiseInternational mobility available for top performers after two years of serviceDemyst is committed to creating a diverse, rewarding career environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
