We are seeking an experienced and innovative General Manager - Digital Marketing to lead and drive our digital marketing efforts across multiple channels. This role involves strategizing, managing, and executing effective digital marketing campaigns to achieve growth, brand visibility, and high customer engagement. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of digital trends, is data-driven, and has a strong leadership ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Oversee the management of SEO, SEM, social media, email, content, and influencer marketing efforts.
Lead e-commerce and online advertising strategies to drive sales and conversions.
Performance Analysis & Optimization:
Analyze and report on digital marketing performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in ROI and KPIs.
Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve customer journey, and maximize engagement.
Conduct A/B testing, customer segmentation, and data analysis to refine marketing tactics.
Brand Management & Content Marketing:
Work with the content team to ensure brand consistency and relevance across all digital touchpoints.
Drive creative and content initiatives, ensuring the messaging aligns with the brand and resonates with target audiences.
Oversee content strategy for social media platforms, blogs, and digital ad campaigns.
Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team.
Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
Budgeting & Resource Allocation:
Develop and manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize impact.
Negotiate with third-party vendors, agencies, and partners to optimize costs and performance.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
Stay current with industry trends, digital tools, and emerging platforms.
Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify opportunities and potential threats in the digital landscape.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, preferably from tier II B-schools (MBA preferred).
7+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Preferred candidates will have experience in a multinational (MNC) environment, demonstrating adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills.
Proven track record in managing successful digital marketing campaigns with measurable results.
Expertise in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, social media platforms, email marketing, and CRM tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-management skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in e-commerce or B2B lead generation
Knowledge of HTML/CSS, graphic design, or basic web development is a plus.
