Power Platform/DevOps Architect
About the Role
As the Power Platform/DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient Power Platform and DevOps solutions to support our organization's digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration and deployment of Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust DevOps practices to streamline our software development and deployment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Power Platform Architecture and Implementation:
Assess the organization's business requirements and design scalable Power Platform solutions to address them.
Develop and maintain reference architectures and reusable components for Power Platform applications.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define application roadmaps and deployment strategies.
Ensure the seamless integration of Power Platform components with existing systems and infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Power Platform development teams.
Design and Develop Architecture for Use cases
Have proper knowledge on licensing and ALM process
Power Automate Desktop Architecture and Implementation:
Design and develop Power Automate solutions to automate business processes.
Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
Ensure that Power Automate solutions are scalable, resilient, and secured.
Implement and test Power Automate solutions.
Train and support users on Power Automate solutions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Power Automate features and functionality.
DevOps Practices and Automation:
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of Power Platform and other enterprise applications.
Implement automated testing, monitoring, and incident response processes to ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems.
Optimize deployment processes and infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure the seamless integration of DevOps practices.
Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for DevOps within the organization.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Power Platform and DevOps technologies.
Identify and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance our Power Platform and DevOps capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and implement innovative solutions that drive business value.
Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the broader team on Power Platform and DevOps practices.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Power Platform development and/or administration
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions
Expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
Strong understanding of cloud technologies, such as Microsoft Azure and related services
Proficiency in programming languages like C#, JavaScript, and PowerShell
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Experience in leading and mentoring cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform and/or DevOps technologies
Experience in enterprise-level application integration and data management
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
