Position Title: Power Apps and Power Automate Architect

Location: Remote

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Apps and Power Automate Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, and will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that enhance our business processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design and Architecture:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Architect end-to-end solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Create detailed architectural designs and technical documentation.
  • Project Leadership:
  • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Integration and Customization:
  • Integrate Power Apps and Power Automate with other Microsoft services such as Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365.
  • Customize and extend Power Platform solutions using Power Apps Component Framework (PCF), custom connectors, and APIs.
  • Optimization and Maintenance:
  • Optimize and enhance existing Power Platform solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Monitor and maintain Power Platform environments, ensuring compliance with best practices and governance policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide innovative solutions that drive business value.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate users on the capabilities and usage of Power Platform solutions.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional Experience:
  • 14+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in designing and developing Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
  • Extensive experience with Power Automate for building complex workflows and automations.
  • Strong understanding of data integration and management using Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, and other data sources.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
  • Knowledge of coding languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# for custom development and extensions.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
  • Experience with AI Builder, Power Virtual Agents, and other advanced Power Platform components.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or architectural role.
