MEDICAL CODING TRAINER Job Type : Medical Coding Trainer Category IT: Software Locations Kochi Summary Good English communication required. Training skills are mandatory Responsible for conducting online and offline classes. Develop curriculum and create presentationTrain, educate and develop employees and fresher's on inpatient and outpatient coding skill sets and competencies based on the industry requirements. Review and respond to coding questions Research on updated coding issues, reimbursement methodologies, and changes in technology that impact and drive the accurate code assignments. Create analysis and reviews of the trainees. Delivering training as per the schedule Plan assignments, grade tests, evaluate student progress & provide course materials. Any change in deviation of schedule should be reported. Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge in Medical Anatomy, Medical Terminology, and the Insurance plans. Should posses certification under AAPC (CPC) Knowledge of legal, regulatory and policy compliance issues related to medical coding and documentation and billing procedures. Ability to analyse, problem-solve, and work independently effectively. Excellent knowledge in CPT, ICD 10, PCS, HCPCS and healthcare terminologies Should be also able to provide guidance for other similar certifications like AHIMA Ability to provide guidance and training to coding professionals and fresher�s.
