Job Description
The Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Next.js Developer to join our dynamic team.

If you're passionate about crafting high-performance web applications, possess a strong Next.js background, and thrive on challenging projects, this role is tailor-made for you.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an agile Scrum team, working alongside project managers, testers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Developing new user-facing and scripting features using Next.js.

  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable code using Next.js.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

  • Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, contributing to the improvement of overall coding standards.

  • Develop Restful services and apply software design patterns in the development of production-scale projects.

  • Work on real-time application development, ensuring responsiveness and optimal performance.

  • Safely deploy code in compliance with internal processes and actively participate in architectural discussions and decisions.

  • Ensuring each deployment is done safely, complying with internal processes.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Next.js development.

  • Strong knowledge of Next.js concepts and best practices.

  • Experience in building and deploying at least 5 projects in Next.js from scratch.

  • Proficiency in unit and integration testing.

  • In-depth understanding of software design patterns in the context of production-scale projects.

  • Familiarity with real-time application development.

  • Solid understanding of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Plus Point

  • Experience with development tools such as Jira, Git, and any CI/CD platforms.

  • Experience in working with or designing large-scale distributed systems.

  • Understanding of Blockchain and its ecosystems.

  • Proven experience as a Team Lead or Senior NextJs Developer. 

Education: BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT or relevant field.

Requirements
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). Experience with data structure libraries (e.g.Immutable.js). Experience with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. A knack for bench-marking and optimization. Expertise in code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML. Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Delegating tasks and setting deadlines for your internal team. Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Plus Point Experience with development tools such as Jira, Git, and any CI/CD platforms. Experience in working with or designing large-scale distributed systems. Experienced in working with UNIX/Linux environments. Understanding of Blockchain and its ecosystems. Proven experience as a Team Lead or Senior Front-End Developer. Education: BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT or relevant field.
