Position Overview: As the General Manager for India operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's business activities. This includes strategic planning, sales and marketing, operations management, team leadership, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for our expansion into the new market, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and revenue growth targets.
  • Sales and Marketing: Lead the sales and marketing efforts to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns and sales strategies to capture market share.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all operational aspects of the business, including supply chain management, logistics, inventory control, and quality assurance. Ensure efficient and cost-effective operations to meet customer demand and maximize profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals across various functions, including sales, marketing, operations, and customer service. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, distributors, and regulatory authorities. Represent us as a reputable and reliable partner.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement measures to optimize profitability and cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive developments in the home goods industry. Utilize market insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and business growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing business operations. Identify and mitigate potential risks to protect the company's reputation and assets.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in business management.
  • Strong understanding of the market landscape, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
