Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Design Engineer specializing in Mechanical, Electrical,
and Plumbing (MEP) with proficiency in Revit software. 

 

Qualification and Job Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 to 7 years of experience working in MEP field with MEP Coordination using Revit software.
  • Experience to work on Navisworks will be considered an added advantage.
  • Should have worked on Revit on different projects.
  • Interface for Revit Mechanical / Structural / Schematic.
  • Strong understanding of MEP design principles, building codes, and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • This position involves working on the following aspects.
  • Ability to create detail MEP services modelling & coordination using Revit MEP.
  • Ability to read & understand various MEP drawings / Plan / Section / Schematic / Mark-up.
  • Ability to independently carry out accurate 2D AutoCAD or 3D Revit MEP Coordination work for Rooms /Corridor / Riser / Plant area etc.
  • Ability to learn and work using various services standard and building codes.
  • Ability to work with team and deliver detailed MEP Coordination model / drawing within allotted time frame & quality that is desired.
  • Should have sound knowledge of various aspects of building services including HVAC, Mechanical Pipework for Heating / Cooling, Domestic Water Supplies, Gases, Sprinkler and Drainage systems
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize MEP designs for efficiency, cost effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all MEP designs.
  • Generate technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications for construction documentation.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents.

 

Skills / Competencies:

  • Ability to get quickly trained on new software and client standards.
  • Able to communicate in written and spoken English
  • Display positive attitude like flexibility, collaborative nature and empathy.
  • Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback.
