The position / About the Job:

In this job the Technical Designer would be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities (activities)

Drafting of P&ID, layout and detail drawings for projects. Develop and update design drawing Use computer-aided drafting (CAD), Auto Cad, Inventor, Cadison etc. to develop P&ID, layouts, drawings, and design in 3D Review engineering drawings, analyze design and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout or design. Coordinate the planning of own design activities Maintenance of drawing database Support to Order handlers, Sales engineers, Project managers, Engineers, Workshop and Buyers. Create item for purchase in our ERP system Attend & support review meetings in order to resolve issues pertaining to drawings. Create as built drawings for the completed projects.

Who you are?

Technical Designer based in Pune to carry out CAD drafting of engineered designs for development, standardization, or customer projects.

What you can be?

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering having relevant experience as Piping Engineer Good knowledge of engineering codes & standards related to Process industries. Knowledge in Autocad, PDMS/Cadison /Inventor  Minimum +5 years experience with engineering work: preferably experience and knowledge about preparation of PID, Layouts, GA, ducting,  Experience in preparing plant layouts in 3D and generation of isometrics.

Skills:

Knowledge of tools for detailed piping engineering like; AutoCAD, PDMS, Cadison and Inventor, etc. MS Office knowledge. Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience as a Piping Engineer Fluent in written and spoken English. Good communication Adapting & Responding to Change Applying Expertise and Technology Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives Following Instructions & Procedures Working with People
