Guidewire Developer (7+ Years Experience)

Location : Multiple Locations

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with over 7 years of expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Guidewire development, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in various locations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, customize, and enhance Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement software solutions that meet business needs and adhere to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Guidewire applications.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of experience in Guidewire development.
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Proficiency in GOSU, Java, and related technologies.
  • Experience with SQL, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in multiple locations and adapt to different project environments.
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Guidewire certification.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
