In this rapidly expanding part of the iBasis portfolio, you have an opportunity to help grow iBasis into the market leader in IoT connectivity and connectivity managementAbout the Role:Unix or Linux Administrators are responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems by applying software engineering principles to IT operations.Key Responsibilities:- Monitoring and Automation: SREs monitor system performance and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.- Incident Management: They respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.- Capacity Planning: SREs assess system capacity and plan for future growth to ensure scalability.- Collaboration: They work closely with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Disaster Recovery: SREs prepare and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.- Performance Optimization: They analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.You’ll Bring:- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and scripting tasks.- Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK stack.- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.Work EnvironmentSREs typically work in fast-paced environments where they are expected to manage multiple tasks and respond to incidents promptly.
