Goal is to be in the global top-3 of IPX players, driven by the growth in LTE roaming.WHY US :The iBASIS Global Access for Things portfolio of services uses GSMA standardized eSIMs to allow customers global access with a single SIM and the ability to control that data via policies.Leveraging a network of relationships with mobile network operators (MNOs), iBasis is a disruptive force in the IoT industry, specializing in cellular connectivity and offering a best-in-class management platform to manage that connectivity.In this rapidly expanding part of the iBasis portfolio, you have an opportunity to help grow iBasis into the market leader in IoT connectivity and connectivity management.About the Role : Unix or Linux Administrators are responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems by applying software engineering principles to IT operations.Key Responsibilities : - Monitoring and Automation : SREs monitor system performance and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.- Incident Management : They respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.- Capacity Planning : SREs assess system capacity and plan for future growth to ensure scalability.- Collaboration : They work closely with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Disaster Recovery : SREs prepare and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.- Performance Optimization : They analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.Youll Bring : - Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).- Programming Skills : Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and scripting tasks.- Monitoring Tools : Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK stack.- DevOps Practices : Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues.Work Environment :SREs typically work in fast-paced environments where they are expected to manage multiple tasks and respond to incidents promptly.They often collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and IT operations staff, to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and infrastructure.Note : Candidate may be asked to answer some coding proficiency questions before/during initial interview.
